Jaflong Zero Point is the International Border point located at Dawki in Meghalaya. This is where the river Dawki (also known as river Umngot) crosses India and enters Bangladesh.

There are soldiers of the Border Security Force to safeguard the border and the visitors. The most interesting aspect is that one can sight Bangladeshis on the other side from this point.

Jaflong is also home to the Khasi tribe and is also popular for its stone accumulations. If you visit this place during the months of March and April then you can enjoy the annual boat racing on Umngot River held here. The weather here is mostly pleasant and will make for an excellent trip.
